Fairview Boys Soccer Looks to Future

By Natalie Bowes in Sports

This past Saturday, the Fairview Boys Varsity soccer team  faced off against Cherry Creek High School. Although Cherry Creek ultimately brought home a 2-1 win, Fairview Senior, Sean Miller sees the loss as an opportunity to grow.

"The game prepared us to face off against some of the tougher opponents to come. It was a learning experience, especially because many of the goals scored on us can be easily prevented in the future." The Knights soccer team has been training hard, and preparing thoroughly for every game. "I feel optimistic that we will go far in the season, we just have to take it one game at a time!" said Miller.

With such a promising future, it would be incredibly unwise to miss out on seeing the Varsity team play Fossil Ridge this Thursday at 4:30 on our home turf! Come support!
