Record Turnout at Knight's Basketball Game

By Henry Larson in Humor

BOULDER, CO—At the Coors Events Center last night, the Fairview Knights and the Boulder Panthers squared off in an intense match observed by a tremendous crowd of 4 people, Three of whom were moms of the players.

This sets a record for the number of attendees at a basketball game across the season. Point guard Corey Landon spoke on the rate of attendance.

“It was really great seeing all the support our community has for athletics,” said Landon.

The fourth attendee was a Boulder student who had wandered into the room.

“Yo man… like… it’s sick, the food is great.…I love golf!” said Trent Hennifer, a junior at Boulder High.

The Knights lost the game 34-2, but the turn out by fans really boosted the team’s spirit. Some players found the support heartwarming.

“I love all of these people coming out and cheering on our team, it’s really inspired me,” said Varsity Waterboy Jordan Gordon.

Because of the community support, the administration has planned an assembly to take place next week, and Student Council has predicted a whole 12 students will show up.
