This year Fairview held a Holi Festival. This is an Indian Festival that celebrates the spring season, the win of good over evil and other important aspects of Indian cultures. Sophomore Anuradha Prakash, with the help of Dorothy Keller from the front office, decided to bring this fun festival to Fairview. In this festival, people throw colored powder at each other and bond with food such as chai and samosas. This festival fundraised for Akshaya Patra. This organization focuses on serving lunches to students all around India and that incentivizes parents to keep their kids in school. Thanks to everyone who came and had a good time!
