The fairview lacrosse program has historically not been good, the last time they made it to the playoffs was a decade ago, and the program seemed to be destined for year after year of below .500 play. However, after a new coaching change three years ago and several good classes of players, the knights were able to qualify for the playoffs after an 8-7 regular season including a notable win over Monarch to put them into the playoffs.

Although the Knights did not win their first playoff game, sophomore attackman Dillon Dickinson-Tooman is optimistic about what the future holds.

When I asked him what his prediction for the next couple years is he said, “I predict that making the playoffs this year will motivate us, and we will continue to grow and progress as a team. I could see a state championship in our future.”

Dickinson-Tooman was one of the 7 Knights plays who made first team all conference including Tommy Miller, Liam O’Brien, Joe Sikora, Harry Pheifer, Hudson Bush, and Tucker Catlin. Hopefully this is a pivotal point for the program that will lead to a state championship.
